McDonald’s

For Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I partnered with McDonald’s to tell the stories for three Asian Americans that forged their own path to carve a unique life for themselves. The stories were shot with a photojournalistic approach, following each person on a day in their lives.

Georgina Pazcoguin - the first Asian American soloist in the New York City Ballet
Mike Magpayo - the first Asian American NCAA Division 1 Basketball Coach (UC Riverside)
Steve Kim - the founder of Project Kinship, a non-profit focused on reentry for people affected by incarceration, gangs and violence in California.
